You can’t learn from history if you don’t know what it was

This short video gives information on the legal action that now has the necessary permission to bring a case to try to outlaw messaging secrecy within government.

The case is a joint effort between All the Citizens, which is an organisation campaigning for more transparency and Foxglove Legal, which campaigns to hold the tech giants accountable:

    Here in the U.S., Hillary Clinton essentially lost the 2016 Presidential election over her use of a private email server, which Republicans treated as the greatest scandal since Watergate. Once Trump was elected into office, use of private email and Whatsapp was the norm throughout his entire executive staff. In fact, Jared Kushner apparently conducted the entirety of our Middle East foreign policy on Whatsapp. It seems conservatives on both sides of the pond have discovered that it is much easier to run a corrupt self-enriching government when there is no evidence of, or accountability for, their actions.

      But the US seems to have, I suggest, a more robust constitution.
