The time is past for voluntary ‘commercial’ regulation. We really need to ensure that people keep their 2 metre (for me that’s actually 6ft 6ins, which is a lot…) distance, which, is broadly impossible or really very difficult on most tubes and buses and usually trains as well. It must be even more difficult especially when, allegedly, no travel unless vital is permitted.
But experts – and above all, the precautionary principle seem to me vital, so when we go food shopping, amoungst other places, we really do need this thought through system.
